Sixth Grade Science
Chapter 5 vocabulary due Tuesday
On Tuesday and Wednesday students will choose an energy source and begin to prepare a presentation with a poster that will be due on Monday November 11th. This poster and presentation will be worth 100 points and serve as a test for this chapter. Students may choose to work alone or together in groups of no more than three persons. Each person in a group will receive the same grade. Class time will be given to research the energy source and a handout will be given with the guidelines (history, advantages, disadvantages, economic viability). Posters must be a minimum of
22 in. X 28 in.
Please bring a clean empty milk jug or similar container for lab on Tuesday or Wednesday. We will begin constructing water wheels during lab time.
