Dear pre-k parents,
Please refer to the previous post/news letter for information about this week.
Please remember that if your child does not attend on Tuesday, please send them for the morning dress rehearsal. We will be getting dressed as they come in. Please make sure that they have used the bathroom.
If your child is a star, they can wear anything under their costume. They will wear a yellow 'gown' over their clothes and a gold headpiece.
If you child is an angel, they should wear a white shirt, if they have it. We will put a white gown over their clothes and and headpiece.
If your child is a shepherd, they can wear anything they want. We will put a shepherd gown and hat over their clothes.
If your child is a sheep, please have them wear black if they have it. They will wear a sheep hat and sheep poncho over their clothes.
Wednesday evening, please bring your child to the cry room at St. Patrick's church. I will be there at 6:15 to check them in and get them dressed. After the program, they will take pictures as a group on the alter. There will be a lot of commotion so please come to the front and get your child, Mrs. Hermosillo will be there to oversee them. I will be in the back of the church in front of the cry room window to receive their costumes. Please make sure to turn in their costumes to me before they leave. My daughters will be there to assist me that evening. The children know them as Sunshine and Bunny.

Dear Pre-K Families,
We have begun our first week of advent. The children will be learning about the true meaning of Christmas and how important Advent is. They each have their own Advent wreath hanging in the hallway. They painted it and it is made out of their traced hands. We will be 'lighting' our advent calendar to count down the 4 weeks before we celebrate the birth of Jesus.
Only the 8th graders ended up practicing last week for the play, but we have been listening to the music. We will have play practice on Tuesday and Wednesday. The play will be on Wednesday, 12/19 at 6:30pmThis week we will also celebrate St. Nicholas Day on Thursday. Please remember to bring a wrapped toy to donate to a child less fortunate. A note went home last week with the information about this. The children will carry up their donated gift during the offering at Mass on Friday. Please have your child wear their blue OLM t-shirt.
We are also asking each child to donate a can of fruit for the spirit of Christmas dinner.
