The fluency page can count towards the 15 minute nightly reading requirement. Memory words(found at the bottom of this post) are high-frequency words that children are taught to recognize by sight. These words are either phonetically irregular and can't be decoded, or they contain letter sounds that haven't been taught yet. Practicing memory words on a regular basis can help improve your child's reading! Students will also have their first spelling test this Friday. Please select a spelling activities from the menu to complete with your child. Homework packets are due Friday.
