This week in class:
Phonics- "ed" sound at the ending of words. We will continue to review other digraphs/ ending sounds  we have learned so far 

Reading- "Flubble Bubble Gum"/ "In a Pickle"- fictional texts with a focus on plot and beginning,middle, and end structure of a story/ Super Duper "Pick it Up"- non fiction text with a focus on comparing and contrasting ideas in informational text

LA/ Writing- Narrative Writing- Planning and writing a story

Math- Math Fact Fluency (Addition); 2D & 3D Shapes

​Religion- Taking Care of Oneself

Science-  Making Healthy Choices/ Red Ribbon Week

Other Notes:

• Please check and sign your child's planner nightly.   
• If you have not submitted your field trip form/ money, please do so asap.  If you signed up to drive, please make sure you are safe environment cleared and have turned in your drivers form to the office.  Even if you turned them in last year, you have to redo your drivers forms for this year!
• Book fair is coming up!  It will be open Monday, October 21 - Thursday, October 24- 8am - 4pm/ Friday, October 25- 8am - 3pm.  Below is the link for more information:
