Wednesday, October 10- Communion Service at Park Merced (We will need drivers.  Leave school at 10:45).  You will need all your insurance forms, driver’s license information, safe environment and finger prints to attend this and future service events.  If you have any questions about the requirements, please contact the office.
Thursday, October 11-Reading Test over vocabulary words, “Coming Distractions”, and “How Do They Do That?”  Students may use textbook on the test.
Friday, October 12- No School; teacher in-service
Wednesday, October 17- Narratives DUE
Friday, October 19- Report Cards go home
October 22 – 26-

• Parent Teacher Conferences- Early Dismissal and No Hot Lunch this week
• Book Fair- Open Monday – Thursday (8AM – 4PM); Friday (8AM – 3PM)​

HOMEWORK:

• For homework, students will need to read 10 minutes, study spelling and vocabulary words for 10 minutes, and practice math facts and/or complete a math practice page.    Additional homework will be listed on the blog in bold, but please check your child's planner, in case we have any unexpected changes for the week.  
• Students will be assigned homework Monday - Thursday.  
• Homework help is typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  If your student is attending, please email to let me know if you will be picking them up at 3:15 or if I should send them to extended care after :)  
• This week, we will only have homework help on Tuesday, as teachers have a meeting on Wednesday, and there will be no homework given on Thursday.
