This week in class:
Phonics- "th" sound at the beginning/ ending of words. We will continue to review other digraphs we have learned so far ("ch," "sh," and "wh")

Reading- "An Odd Pet for Oswald"/ "What a Pet" (fictional passages)/ "Pet Clinic" (nonfictional mini magazine).  We will work on describing characters and discuss picture-text relationships.

LA/ Writing- Writing research questions; Finding and writing facts to answer research questions

Religion- Parts of the Mass

Math- Continue addition; Students will learn a variety of strategies, including number lines, the communative property, and the property of zero and one.

Science- Plant Life Cycle/ Needs

Memory words: where, what, why, when, which, who

Spelling words: this, that, thin, think, thank, bath, path, math, cloth, moth
