Week of 5/4/20

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  Just a reminder - the writing assignment from last week is due Tuesday, May 5th.  Everything else is due on Sunday, May 10th.  

Below is a suggested schedule for the week.  Again, I have starred assignments that need to be submitted.  Please make sure your student is practicing their math facts at least 5 minutes per day.

Spelling words: moon, spoon, room, broom, book, took, shook, good, wood, stood

Memory Words: live, eight, hold, old, write

Zoom Meetings:
Tuesday, May 5th - 10AM- Read Aloud with Mrs. Poole (optional)
Small Groups - Check Email invite for day/ time - Instead of doing our regular reading groups, students will share what they wrote for the information paragraph
Friday, May 8th - 2PM - Directed Drawing (optional)

Phonics - Video/ Word Work Book Pages 118 - 120*
Reading -"The Superkids Like Books" (page 192 - 193)
Math - Guided Practice in textbook (pages 283 - 284) OR Video/ Complete page 285 from the math textbook*
Writing - Continue informational paragraph

Tuesday:
Daily Check In/ Routine
Phonics - Audio Clip/ Word Word Book Page 121 - 123*
Reading - "The Case of the Mystery Monster" (pages 194 - 199)/ Practice Page 89
Math - Video/ Workbook Pages 223 - 224*
Writing- Finish paragraph and submit if you have not already *

Wednesday:
Daily Check In/ Routine
Phonics - Review video if needed/ Workbook Page 124*
Reading - "The Case of the Mystery Monster" (pages 200 - 204)
Math - Video/ complete 1 item off the choice board
Writing - Mother's Day Activity

Thursday:
Daily Check In/ Routine
Phonics - Word Work Book Page 125*
Reading - Library Book
Math - Complete 2nd item from the menu.  Submit one or both items*
Writing - Mother's Day, cont.

Friday:

Phonics - Spelling Test*
Reading - Complete library book and assigned practice page*
Math - Coin Quiz*
