Bio:

My name is Larissa Mogavero, or “Ms. M” as students call me. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada.  While living there, I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of Las Vegas, Nevada.  I’ve had many opportunities in different capacities working with children throughout the past 11 years. In 2016, I worked for a non-profit organization that educated and introduced children of the Boys and Girls Clubs to the outdoors. I also substituted for many years both in Las Vegas and Merced City School District for grades K-8. One of the greatest teaching experiences I’ve had however, was teaching catechism at my local church. It truly felt like a blessing and calling to be able to have that opportunity. I’ve enjoyed combining my love of teaching and my faith in educating the 5th grade children at OLM school.
