Bio:My name is Judy Blackburn and this are our school mascots: Lancer and Mercy.
I am on my 21st year as principal of Our Lady of Mercy School, and once again teaching 8th grade. Prior to becoming principal, I taught grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 for sixteen years… so I have been in education for a grand total of thirty-one years. I have a B.A. in Liberal Studies, a Master of Arts degree in Education, as well as, a Administrative Credential from St. Mary’s College. I love athletics, and therefore coach all of the girl’s athletic teams at OLM. I, along with my five siblings graduated from OLM School. I am committed to Catholic Education and to overseeing that OLM School provides a positive learning environment for all children. |
