Has your child used the Superkids program at home yet?
Continue working on letter recognition and phonics everyday.
 
Home Work:  Homework is to be done in crayon and/or pencil.  Please do not use markers or pens.  
 
Dress Code: Don't forget the fall/winter dress code means no more shorts.  Boots are not allowed. Also, the only sweatshirts that may be worn on campus are the OLM sweatshirts. Jackets may be any color but can only be worn during recess. Please refer to the handbook if you have any questions.
 
Hair: Boys--hair must be above the ears, eyebrows and collar. Girls--only Black, brown, white or OLM hair clips (etc.) may be worn (no pink, purple, aqua, etc., hair ties, clips or rubber bands).
 
Thanksgiving Snack: It is tradition here at OLM for the kindergarten (Native Americans) to share a Thanksgiving snack for the first graders (Pilgrims). We will have a small Thanksgiving snack with the first grade class.  I am asking each child to bring an adult sized white t-shirt to make our costumes. We will be decorating them on Wednesday 11/8.
 
Catholic Charities:
Please bring in two packets of gravy mix by Thursday November 9th
 
Fall Program:  Kindergarten in is the Fall program Wednesday, November 15th.  We will meet in the classroom at 6:15.
 
Operation Christmas Child:
Kindergarten is to bring in 2 wash cloths and 2 bars of soap.  These are due by November 9th.
We will be making gift boxes to give to needy children all over the world at Christmas time.  Your generosity and good will are greatly appreciated.
 
Dates to Remember:
11/9          Veteran’s Day Program at 8:30. All are welcome.
11/10        No School
11/9          Bring in 2 Wash cloths, 2 bars of soap, 2 packets gravy mix
11/15        Fall Program/Thanksgiving Dinner at 6:30pm 
11/20-25   Thanksgiving Vacation
