5/22/17 We are wrapping up the school year. This is our final week and we have been practicing our closing prayer service. Please help your child memorize their part. Kindergarten Memories DVD We are making a Kindergarten Memories DVD. These are available for $10.00. An order form has been sent out. Kindergarten Field Day Wednesday is our Field Day. Helpers are needed for this day. Sign up sheet is posted outside our classroom door. Children can wear free dress. We will be having relay games and other outdoor activities so sneakers are best. Lunch is provided. Children are to bring a beach towel and a toy to share with their friends. Field Day Lunch Sign up Sheet There is a sign up sheet for our field day lunch. Come sign up at the door. Kindergarten Closing Prayer Service Our closing prayer service is Thursday 5/25 following morning prayer (8:30). Children are to wear their Mass day uniform. Dismissal is immediately following (approximately 9:30). This is Kindergarten’s last day of school. Please make every effort to ensure your child has an adult representative here on this very important day. Important Dates To Remember: 5/23 Classroom Clean Up Day 5/24 Kindergarten Field Day (free dress, with sneakers, bring a beach towel and a toy) 5/25 Kindergarten Closing Ceremony/ Last day of Kindergarten. Children are to wear their Mass day uniform. Dismissal immediately following Closing Prayer Service.

Congratulations Kindergarten on your writing awards! Thank you to all those who drove today. I will take pictures of the children tomorrow with their certificates then send the certificates home in their folders.
Tomorrow is the Writing Awards ceremony. The children must wear their school uniform, and bring their booster seats. We will leave at 8:30 promptly. Congratulations to everyone!
The school year is coming to a close and we are still busy working on various kindergarten concepts. Please continue working on those sight words, reading and math skills.
Grandparents Day: Friday May 5th is Grandparents Day. Grandparents are welcome to come join us for Mass, Crowning of Mary and breakfast. 8th Grade Carnival The 8th grade carnival is Friday, May 19th, from 10-12. There is Free Dress. There will be many game booths and activities set up for all the students. Food will also be available for purchase. Please send in $5-10 to purchase tickets and/or food. Dismissal is at 12:30. Kindergarten Memories DVD We are making a Kindergarten Memories DVD. These are available for purchase. An order form will be sent out later this week. Please return the form and money by 5/18. Kindergarten Field Day Wednesday, May 24th is our field day and class party. Volunteers are needed to organize and set up games, etc. The children may bring a toy to share and a beach towel to sit on. This is also a free dress day for Kindergarteners. Lunch will be provided on this day. Kindergarten Closing Prayer Service You are invited to the Kindergarten Closing Prayer Service and Distribution of Certificates on Thursday, May 25th. It will begin following morning prayer in the auditorium. The children are to wear their Mass day uniform. Please ensure that a parent or representative is there for your child on this special day. This is Kindergarten’s last day of school. Dismissal is immediately following (approximately 9:30). LAST DAY OF HOT LUNCH IS WEDNESDAY 5/18. All remaining lunch and milk tickets will be sent home for next year.
