December 12, 2016 Sight Word of the Week: can not it what be good Theme: Advent Prayer of the Month: Gloria Christmas Party: We will have pizza, a treat, and juice Friday at 11:00. Uniform Dress Code: Please be aware, the only sweatshirt allowed is the OLM sweater/sweatshirt. Jackets (any color) may be worn at recess on the playground only. Spirit of Christmas: Student council is sponsoring an all school Christmas Food Drive. Please bring in a can of green beans, corn or peas. Thank you for those that have already brought in a donation. Homework: No homework will be sent home this week. Homework will be sent home the Friday that we return to school. Please continue to practice letter and number recognition (upper and lower case) letter sound association, and sight words. We are also working on ordinal numbers (first, second, third, etc.) rhyming words, in addition to blending and segmenting words (b-a-t, bat), and writing. Dates to Remember: 12/14 Christmas Program 6:30 at St. Pat’s 12/16 Free Dress & Minimum Day 12:30 Dismissal. 1/3/17 School resumes Don’t forget Friday dismissal is at 12:30.
