Monthly Events

D Street Lunches
Once a month on Fridays, each grade provides a bag lunch for the D Street Shelter (see calendar in your parent envelope for your child’s date). Your child will bring home a brown bag to decorate and you will fill the bag with non-perishable items such as a peanut butter and jelly, piece of fruit, chips, cookie and a drink.

Middle School Lunches - Grades 6-8 Grades 6-8 are responsible for providing lunches once a month for the school (see calendar in parent envelope for your date). The room parent will organize sign ups for parents to donate items needed for the lunch (for example, bags of chips, hot dogs, buns, capri suns, etc). Usually the class will provide the same lunch each month (for example, one does hot dogs, one does hamburgers, and one does pasta with red sauce). Parents will also need to volunteer to prepare and serve the lunches on their given day.

School Masses at St. Patricks Each month there is a school mass scheduled at St. Patricks. The dates and times vary to make sure to check the monthly school calendar in your parent envelope. Students are encouraged to attend the mass wearing their school uniforms to support the school at our home parish and bring awareness to parishioners about OLM. Students who participate in the OLM choir are required to attend these masses. There will be sign ups sent out asking for other students to participate as alter servers, readers, greeters, and more through email. On occasion, free dress passes are given to students who attend, but not always.

Beautification Days

These Parent Club events are monthly on a Saturday (for exact dates check your monthly calendar in the parent envelope) where parents and students can help with beautification projects around the campus (pulling weeds, planting flowers, painting, etc.). The projects are decided on by Mrs. Blackburn so if you notice any areas of improvement, contact her. This is a great way to not only earn your family volunteer hours, but to make sure that OLM looks the best that it can!

Parent Club Meetings

Parent Club meetings are held at 6pm on the second Tuesday of each month. You earn one volunteer hours for each meeting you attend. These meetings go over upcoming Parent Club/school events. If you are looking for ways to earn family volunteer hours, this is the place to go to find out all of those opportunities as well as get more involved in your child’s school. If you have any questions feel free to contact our Parent Club President, Justine Rogina at (209)631-9311 or email our Volunteer Coordinator, Melissa Silva at [email protected].
