Welcome back Computer Class have begun for the new school year of 2017-2018, luckily for the students there will be no homework until the week of Sept 4th as we will be STAR testing the weeks of Aug 21-25 and Aug 28-Sept 1. 

Homework for 5th Grade will normally be any typing lessons they are not able to complete in class with four stars or better. The will be responsible for two typing lessons in Typing Club a week and need to get 4 stars or better for full credit if they are unable to do this in class it is homework and due before the following weeks class. I do not want my 5th graders doing new typing lessons at home this is in class work and only to be done at home if the requirements for full credit are not met. If a student wishes to do old typing lessons they have already completed at home for additional practice this is fine but I do not want them going ahead in lessons at home. 

Grades 6-8 will normally have 1 typing speed test due each week and a question of the week that will need to be typed up and turned in on the designated date. The purpose for the typing speed test and question of the week is to give the students further practice with typing in the junior high. By having them do a typed question of the week every week it give them practice with put their ideas onto a digital document as well as giving them further practice with typing.
