Classwork / Homework

Grade 5:
This week in class you will be working on Typing Club lessons 11-13. There are three lessons due this week. You must have at least 4 stars in each to get full credit. If you do not get 4 stars in each in class it is homework and due by next week. 

Grade 6:
No class or homework as 6th grade is at Camp Calvincrest.

Grade 7:
We are continuing our learning of MLA format. We will be working on how to make an outline this week in class. Your homework is to finish the outline that we start in class together. You will also have one typing test due this week by Friday Oct 14th.

Grade 8:
In class we will be peer editing your essays about yourself. You will check other classmates essays for punctuations, capitalizations, grammar, spelling, paragraph setup, did they typing 7-10 sentences, and understanding, where you able to read it without getting hung up on a sentence you could not understand. Your homework for this week will be to type a response essay to the one you peer edited explaining to the author of that essay what they did wrong, what you did not understand, or if they had no errors you could see what did you like about their essay. You will also have one typing test due by Friday Oct 14th.
