Sunday, January 28th - Mass at St. Patrick's 9 am, students are to wear OLM uniform to show school spirit
Monday , January 29th - Movie in the afternoon
Tuesday, January 30th - Buddy Day, blue and white day, bring a buddy gift no more than $2, STUDENTS BRING A COLD LUNCH
Wednesday, January 31st - Cherish Luncheon, STUDENTS NEED TO BRING COLD LUNCH AND 1 DOZEN COOKIES FOR LUNCHEON
Thursday, February 1st - Souper Bowl with Faith Families, Bring a canned soup, wear sports free dress
Friday, February 2nd - drop off your child at St. Patrick's Church by 8 am, Early dismissal at 12:30

Cursive - We are working on cursive one more week.  Please encourage your child to practice
English- Adjectives and Adverbs
Reading - We will be working on writing this week and finishing our summary for the book reports
Spelling - no words this week we will just be reviewing previous weeks
Math - Chapter 6 Multiplication and division 6,7,8 and 9's
Science - Planets
We will be working on our class science project for the science fair which will be on February 6th at 6pm. 
Phonics - word endings

Welcome to Auction Week!!

Our school's biggest fundraiser will be this weekend at St. Patrick's Church.  Please come and help us celebrate 90 years of Catholic Education.  This is an exciting event for family and friends to share time with one another.  

Your child went home with a t-shirt book report form on Friday.
The report is not due until February 1st.  Your child is reading a chapter book from the library and needs to do the report on that book.  This is intended to be a fun project at home and there is a summary page will be completed in class.  Please help your child with the project.  You may use paint, washable markers or any other markers you feel necessary.  Use your creativity and please let me know if you have any questions.

Catholic School's week will begin Sunday, January 28th.  There will be an all school Mass at 9:00 am.  All students are encouraged to attend and wear their uniform.

I hope everyone has a beautiful Holiday. We are well on our way through the school year.  Please keep your calendar handy along with checking your child's planner.  Students need to have planner signed Monday- Friday.

Cursive - We will finish our cursive book and will begin cursive writing in February.  All students are expected to write in cursive at OLM school grades 4-8th.  If your child has difficulties I have extra pages I can send home.
