We are fast approaching the end of the school year.  Report cards were sent home Friday.  Please be sure to check your child's report card and return as soon as possible.


Our biggest school Auction dinner will be on January 26th.  Our class will be making a project to help with the auction dinner.  Please send in your $15 if you have not already done so to help with the cost of the class auction item. Thank you

Handwriting - We are working through our handwriting book and I hope for everyone to be writing cursive by March.  This is our goal.

Math - Chapter 6 Multiplication
Our Math Series starts with the 6's. Please practice with flash cards at home daily.  It is very important that your child knows multiplication facts up to the 9's by the end of the 3rd grade.  We will begin timed tests next week. We will all begin with the 2's. Thank you

Social Studies - Week 21 Citizenship
Please be sure your child is going on Studies Weekly on the computer each week

Science- Unit B chapter 2
Test next Tuesday
We will be sending home a study guide tomorrow.  I will be going over the test questions in class.

Welcome to 2019!

With the new year comes a few changes.  In the past I have allowed students to share school supplies but with the last few weeks of last year resulted in many different kinds of illnesses. I have decided that all students should have their own school supplies.  It is nice to share but we are also sharing all of our illnesses with one another.  With many attempts several students do not have the supplies they need.  Please ask your child what they need.  It may be scissors, markers or crayons.  If your child is not prepared it makes it very difficult for them to work.  Pencils will be provided.  Thank you for your consideration.
