We will have conferences and the book fair begins this week. Dismissal will be at 12:30 each day. The book fair will be open until 4:00 each day.
Wednesday our class will be performing the lenten reflection right after morning prayer. All are welcome. Our class will be in the Spring Program on April 18th. The students will be wearing costumes. I will have most costumes but some additional props may be needed. I will let your child know as soon as possible. Thank you On April 24th we will be attending the Farm Safety Day. I have received most of the permission slips. It is a fun filled day with a lot of Safety Tips. The students will all receive a t-shirt and hat to wear on the day of the field trip. The need to wear closed toe shoes and either shorts or jeans for the bottoms. I wouldn't recommend dresses. Thursday - 12:30 dismissal Friday - No school Reading - We will be working on short story comprehension in class Math - Reviewing Mulitplication and Division It is extremely important that the students are learning their math facts. We are taking timed tests in class. The students have 2 minutes to complete 50 problems. Please help your child by doing flash cards, writing out the answers, printed papers or using apps on tablets. The students are required to know the times tables up to the 9's as part of the standards. Thank you for your help. The end of the quarter will be this Friday. We still have a few chatty students in class. Continue to talk with your child about talking and disrupting others. Thank you. You may choose to drive and stay or just drop off and pick up. If you choose to stay the day an additional permission slip is needed for the parents.
