Dear Heavenly Father, please continue to help those who are in need of help during this time of need. Please protect our medical community and first responders who are helping to heal those who are infected. We pray for our school family and friends. May they continue to help one another and show love and support. Thank you. In Gods Name we Pray. Amen
Keep up the good work. I enjoyed reading to the students yesterday. Continue to read the story at least two to three days this week. You will have a test on Friday about the story including the vocabulary. You will find this on the Think Central website. Under things to do. Today, we will be having a Zoom meeting at 9:30 am. We will be going over lesson 8.2 on pages 219-221. If you are having difficulty with division please remember if you do not know your times tables this may be difficult for you. Continue to practice your math facts daily. It is very important. I will be going over the division rules again tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing all of you. :) I received some emails about certain programs not working properly. I know that the sites are being used heavily so if you do run into a problem try waiting a bit and log back in. Sometimes that seems to help. Also for the math chapter 8 it allows you to print the whole chapter workbook pages. We will work on some of them but if there are extras please feel free to use them as a supplement. Thanks again for your continued support.

Happy Friday!! If you are able to go onto EWTN at 10:00, the Pope will be giving a special blessing to all who attend. https://www.ewtn.com/ Today go on google classroom: Reading test on Life on the Ice Science Test Writing If you have not been on Freckle please do so and complete the math and ELA. God Bless you and Have a good day! I made a mistake.... Science quiz was listed twice. For Science today draw and label a food chain using 3 items. An example would be a hawk, a rabbit and grass. I would write these out and draw a picture next to each animal. You will keep this and put it in your homework folder or if you feel creative some parents have found a way to submit students work through google classroom. :)
Otherwise place the work in your homework folder. Good Morning,
Please check Google classroom for the writing for today. Be sure you are joining Freckle. The link is: https://www.freckle.com/ The class code is: CBZ7JN (THE CODE IS CASE SENSITIVE) I will see all of you at 11:00 for our zoom drawing classroom. You will need a blank sheet of paper or whatever you have on hand. After the lesson you may color it during your own time. We will be drawing Hank the Shark. Family members may also join us if they would like. :) Hope you can make it!! Hello Everyone,
We had another productive Zoom meeting this morning. Some of you are still having trouble logging into certain accounts. Please email me if you are having any trouble. I am having to also email Mr. Dimpsey because some of the questions are beyond me. :) It would also be helpful if your child is able to log into their gmail account by themselves. I know that we have many parents who are still working and trying to balance a lot at one time. Don't worry your child is perfectly capable of being able to sign into accounts. They used to do it a lot in our classroom on the chrome books. Please give them a chance. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I would also strongly suggest printing out the BLOG daily as I am answering some of the questions on the BLOG as they come up. This may help a lot with planning ahead as well as a resource as time moves on that way you do not have to look back at the blog over and over. Another resource that does not need a password or username is National geographic kids. We used this for centers weekly at school. There are resources for research along with games for the students. The link is: https://kids.nationalgeographic.com/ Enjoy!! For those of you who already completed the Math page 218 (1-14) all with me yesterday, I would like you to get on Freckle today. Please complete one of the math portions assigned.
I have also sent or posted the social studies quiz for Thursday. So if you want you can go ahead and complete the assignment. Thank you Dear Parents,
We had our Math lesson on Zoom today. Im so glad it worked out. If you were not able to join us I reviewed the lesson with the students and they did the Let's practice page 214 (1-14) all on their own. You should open your child's email and begin the Zoom meeting with the class. We will Zoom for reading tomorrow at 9:30 am and Thursday at 11:00 for art drawing. Thanks again, Mrs. Bliss Good Morning,
Google Classroom assignments are now posted. Sorry for the delay. Also spelling words are in the reading packet for the week. The students should know where to find these. :) Zoom will be at 1:00 today and we will be working on Math if you are able to join us. Check your email for the invite. Thank you I was just informed that brain pop is free for everyone so all you have to do is sign up for their free account by setting up a username and password. Thank you for your patience. Have a great day!! I am working on brain pop now to see how I can sign all of you in.
