I hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving with Family and Friends.  

​On December 12th we will be going to Cherish.  For those parents who signed up to drive I will be sending home a reminder by the end of the week.

​During the month of December I would like the students to focus on Acts of Kindness.  We will be discussing what it means to be kind and to go out of our way sometimes to help others in need.  Please discuss with your child the importance of giving during the season of Advent.  Giving doesn't always mean giving monetary items, it's also the act of giving a simple smile or helping in some small way.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR CALENDARS HANDY THE NEXT FEW MONTHS. 

OUR CLASS IS IN THE CHRISTMAS PROGRAM.  I KNOW THE STUDENTS HAVE BEEN IN THE PROGRAM FOR SEVERAL YEARS BUT THATS BECAUSE WE HAVE BEAUTIFUL VOICES IN OUR CLASS. THE PROGRAM WILL BE ON DECEMBER 20TH AT 6:30 PM.  PLEASE MAKE A NOTE IN YOUR CALENDARS.  THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL EVENT FOR ALL FAMILY MEMBERS TO SEE.  WE WILL BE PRACTICING WHEN WE RETURN FROM THANKSGIVING BREAK.

Thank you for bringing in all of the items for Operation Christmas. It is nice to see the students packing the boxes for the children in need.

Reminders:
Thursday we will have a class mass in the Chapel.  If anyone would like to attend we will begin at 8:15 am.

Friday, November 16th is the Thanksgiving Prayer service for the school.  
The prayer will begin at 8:15 am.
Friday, November 16th - Please bring in a St. Vincent lunch.  We will decorate bags Thursday.

This week we will be having a Veterans Program on Thursday at 8:30 am.  Please invite all of your family and friends who are veterans to attend.  Our class will be performing the National Anthem.  

In Honor of Veterans day we will not have school on Friday, November 10th.

REMINDERS:
*  Bring canned food for Catholic Charities - 2 cans corn or green beans by Thursday, Nov. 9

*  Bring 2 small notepads and 4 pencils or pens by Thursday, Nov 9th for Operation Christmas Boxes.

*  Penance will be on November 28

* November 16th we will be having a class mass in the Chapel.  I will be sending home readings with some students to practice.

Our class will be in the Christmas Program.

Reading : We will be reading a chapter book titled My Fathers Dragon.  We will read a few chapters a week. Spelling and reading comprehension test will be on Thursday.  There will be no vocabulary.
