Dear Parents,
 
It’s so hard to believe that it is almost the last week of school.   I have had such a wonderful time teaching your child. 
The class is so inquisitive and has had such a desire to learn new and exciting information.  It has made for a very successful school year and I am very proud their accomplishments.
Next week marks the last week of school and I would like to have some fun with the students.  I have listed below theme days for the afternoon.  If you can have your child bring in the items for the day it would be greatly appreciated.  If they are not able to bring items don’t worry it’s ok.  We will still have a great time and make do with what we have.
 
MONDAY - 
GAME DAY

• Bring your favorite board game and a beach towel

 
TUESDAY-
         ICE CREAM DAY

• We will discuss the process of ice cream turning from a liquid to a solid.  Your child will not need to bring anything on this day.  All items will be provided.

 
WEDNESDAY –
         HOLLYWOOD DAY

• I will be giving out class awards red carpet style. J All parents who want to attend are welcome.  The event will begin around 1:00.  Each student will take home an award certificate along with a treat.

 
THURSDAY –
         CAMP DAY

• In the morning we will make solar smores, all items for this will be provided.  In the afternoon we will watch a movie have popcorn and enjoy our solar smores.  Bring your favorite popcorn topping.

FRIDAY –
         MASS AT 8:15 AND DISMISSAL WILL BE AT 10:00 am.  PLEASE REMEMBER TO PICK UP YOUR CHILD AT 10 AM.  THERE WILL BE NO EXTENDED CARE.

Dear Parents,
 
Mrs. Poole has so graciously volunteered her time to create a book of the landmarks.  This is a very nice keepsake for the 3rd grade. 
Mrs. Poole may order books for anyone who would like one.  The sale price is $28 and sale ends this Friday.  If you are interested, you must send in the money by Friday, May 18th so she can order the books.  The books will arrive over the summer.  As soon as they are here you will be contacted.
If you want to purchase after May 18th the cost goes up to $50 so take advantage of this great deal. J
