WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL

AUGUST 12-16

We had a very nice day today.  It was so nice to see all of the smiling faces.  

Family Envelopes went home today.  Remember to go over the new Diocesan Handbook.  There is some new information and please review the Uniform Dress Code as some items may have changed.  

Please be sure to check your child's homework folder and remove the packet.  Sign any necessary paperwork and return as soon as possible.  Sign your child's planner daily and be sure to return homework folder and planner each day.  
Homework will begin Tuesday. The students will choose a way to write their spelling words using the homework folder and reading A Fine Fine school out of their reader.

This weeks lessons will be:
Reading - Lesson 1 A Fine Fine School
Spelling - Lesson 1 
       words will be written in your child's planner
Math - Chapter 1 Place Value
Social Studies - Week 1 Exploring California
Religion - Being Kind to others and what that looks like in and out of the classroom.

Thursday, August 15th is Mass for Our Lady of Assumption ( All students must be in full uniform)
