Math test:  on multiplication of fractions only:  the chapter is multiplication and division---I have found it is better for the students if I test on one before moving on to the other

Relay for Life:  we will begin collecting dimes for Relay for Life---we want to see how many empty water bottles we can fill up.

   Note:  I have changed the date the research notecards are due---to 3/17

The students have started their research reports.  They have been to our school library getting information.  Please help them find more information by taking them to the County Library---or finding information on line.  They need two different kinds of sources.  They must bring their materials to school and take notes on notecards in class.  These notecards are kept at school---and are due on 3/17.  They have a good hour each day to take notes---they need to stay on task to complete their cards.  The report will be a good 700 words--so they need a lot of notecards.  They will outline after their notecards to organize their material---then write their report from their cards while following their outline.  Finally, they will get to bring home their draft so they can type it---along with a bibliography.  This will be due by April 11th.
