Welcome back!!!  I look forward to the new school year.  I am sending home a parent letter on Monday giving an overview of the year.
Upcoming:
States/Capitals:  students will random draw their state (no trading)--and have a month to complete their board.  A handout will be sent home outlining all that is required on the board.
     Due Date:  9/14
        Presentations week of 9/18
Spelling:  the first week's test will be spelling only.  After that I include a vocabulary component to their test.  They need to study the first 2 pages in their spelling book---the sentences and definitions.
