Week of Feb. 4-8

This week in class:

Reading:  chapter 21 in Superkids.  We will work on distinguishing among characters in dialogue; practice reading text in illustrations; practice reading in a comic strip; and comprehension.

Phonics:  verbs ending in -ing and -ed; past tense verbs; adverbs; and we will be writing a narrative focusing on characters and setting.

Math:  we will continue on with Fractions.  

Social Studies:   this week in California Studies Weekly, Capitals or Capitol Buildings.

Religion:  our new chapter is, The Gift of the Eucharist.  We begin our journey onto our second Sacrament, First Holy Communion.  

Science:  we will wrap up Scientific Method.  Remember to attend the Science Fair this Wednesday at 6pm in the auditorium.  Our class project will be on display.
