Hello Parents!
Welcome to the 2nd quarter of the school year! My apologies for not being able to access my blog throughout these past few weeks! I realize it is a huge inconvenience to us all when my blog is not up and running. Today we went to Cherish. I want to thank all the parents that drove:) The kids were wonderful and the people really enjoyed the entertainment the children provided them! In regards to driving to and from school outings. If you intend to be a driver please be sure you have taken the Safety class with Mrs. Blackburn, you have been fingerprinted, and that the office has your updated insurance information. The insurance information is something that will have to be updated every year. So if you did not drive today but plan on joining us on another trip please take care of this right away--you will NOT be able to drive without the updated information!!! This bring me to our field trip. We will be going to the Hunter Farms Pumpkin Patch next Tuesday, October 18th. We will be leaving at 8:15 a.m. and returning by 11:30 or so. Keep in mind this is a minimum day (12:30 p.m. dismissal)--all week we will be on a half day schedule due to Parent/Teacher Conferences. If you have signed up to drive I will write in your child's planner a reminder of the time you need to be on campus ready to go. This is a FREE DRESS day! I had the kids write in their planner that there will be a Science test this Thursday, October 13th. As we normally do for any test, we have been reviewing everyday and the kids will come home with study guide tomorrow. I will be blogging on Sunday our curriculum for the week just as I did before. ~Mrs. J
