Thank you to all the parents who volunteered their time this morning to drive to Cherish for our community service. It is greatly appreciated! ***Dates to Remember*** Friday, November 15th-St. Vincent Lunches Tuesday, November 19th-Shoe Box Assembly, please make sure your child brings in their color books and crayons so that their Faith Family can pack their shoe box. Friday, November 22bd-Thanksgiving Prayer Service at 8:15am. November 25th-29th-NO SCHOOL. Happy Thanksgiving!! Tuesday, December 3rd-First Reconciliation at 6:00pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. This week in class.. Reading-Chapter 12 in our Superkids. Students will practice observing punctuation in dialogue; reading with expression and accurately; read and discuss grade level texts; identify themes and morals; compare and contrast characters. Language Arts- review nouns, verbs, adjectives; encode soft c and g words; associate c with s and g with j; commas; synonyms; and antonyms. Math- we will take the Math test on Wednesday. On Thursday we will begin Chapter 5 Multiplication and Division. Science-we will complete our chapter, People Grow and Change. There will be an open book test on Thursday. ***Dates to Remember***
Friday, November 8th, Veteran's Celebration at 8:30am Monday, November 11th, NO SCHOOL, Veteran's Day Tuesday, November 12th, Community Service event at Cherish. At the beginning of the year you filled out a permission slip for your child to attend our 3 community service events. Tuesday's community service event will be at Cherish in Merced. We will depart campus at 9:45am and we should return by 10:30am. If you volunteered to drive on the permission slip, please plan on being at school by 9:40am. I will write a reminder in your child's planner if I have you down as one of our drivers.
