YOUR CHILD WILL NEED TO ACCESS IXL FOR MATH AND LANGUAGE ARTS. I WILL BE EMAILING YOU YOUR CHILD'S IXL ACCOUNT USERNAME AND PASSWORD. SOME PARENTS DO NOT HAVE AN EMAIL ON FILE. Monday Reading: we will begin Chapter 26 in our Superkids reader. Read, " Oswald's Invitation," pages 104-105. Discuss text, for comprehension. Fluency, make sure your child is reading with appropriate and natural phrasing. Do word workbook pages 56-57. Spelling: the spelling words are on superkids word workbook page 56. Please introduce words to your child. Help them pronounce words,and define the words. Students shoudl write words 3x's each. Math: we will be reviewing math that we have already learned via IXL. Today students will be reviewing 3 digit addition. Once your child is logged into IXL have them go into the Math portion and scroll down to ADDITION and do all the 3 digit addition (numbers 6,7,and 8). Social Studies: Read and discuss this week's Weekly, "Capitals or Capitol Buildings." Science: This week we will be reviewing and rereading last weeks chapter, "Observing and Measuring Matter." Read and discuss, "Matter," pages C5-C7. Students will answer the THINK ABOUT IT questions, numbers 1&2. Tuesday Reading: Read, "Ana's Advice," pages 106-107. Discuss text for comprehension.
