8th Grade: Valentine's week - what is love? Patient, kind, selfless, humble, polite, accommodating, forgiving, compassionate, merciful, hopeful, and joyful. Let us keep this in mind this week as we interact with others. Calendar: Tuesday, February 14: Free red, pink, and white Dress Wednesday, February 15: 6pm - 8th grade Parent Meeting in Room 14 Monday, February 20 - Friday, February 24: NO SCHOOL - relax, enjoy - MEMORIZE PLAY LINES Reminders: D Street $ were due! EVERYONE is REQUIRED to bring 5-600 NOTECARDS for your use this 2nd semester - thank you: Jack, Roxy, Parker, Kylie, Marissa, Daisy, Tricia, Bridget ? of the Day: 2/15: Today we talked about ways we can tell if an action is a good choice or not. Give an example of someone famous today or in history (can't pick Jesus) who role modeled an example of making a good choice in a conflicting experience. Explain their actions and choices. 2/14: Happy Valentine's Day - have you shared the letter to your parents about the 8th Grade parent meeting tomorrow night? Please copy the letter below and have your parent sign it so I know they have seen it, or they can sign the flyer sent home last week. Please bring your late D Street $ and your progress reports - thank you! Dear 8th Grade Parents, February 10, 2017 We are in the last half of your child’s 8th grade year at Our Lady of Mercy School. For many of your children this has been most of their life. As we enter the final months there are many exciting events and activities in which your child and you will be involved. To give you information about these activities, dates, and all other information needed before they graduate, there will be a meeting in my classroom (14) this coming Wednesday night, February 15th, at 6:00pm. Please have at least 1 parent from each family attend. Please do not bring your child as there are some activities that are a surprise for them.
