What do Saints look like? Find a mirror!

8th Graders - Thank you to CJSF for many events for Red Ribbon Week and to Student Council members who helped out last week.   Let us work on the goal of disconnecting from the devices that remove us from family and friends and TALK, LISTEN, CARE, FACE TO FACE! Take time for each other!  Do you really know how the people you live with feel?  

Calendar: 
Wednesday, October 31: " Happy Halloween" : wear costumes for Costume Parade or uniforms; if need to change, change into uniform
Thursday, November 1:  arrive at OLM 7:30 in uniform; put on saint costume, 8:15 All Saints Day mass -  8th grade leads mass in saint costumes
Friday, November 2: bring St. Vincent Lunches, 12:30 Dismissal 
Sunday, November 4:  9:00 OLM mass at St. Patrick's Church

Wednesday, November 7: Come Enjoy:  Our Lady of Mercy 8th Grade Students’ Saint Wax Museum - 9:15-11:15 - Our Lady of Mercy School Auditorium  - Visitors Welcome!

10/30: Do you have your Halloween costume ready and are you supposed to bring a treat for the party tomorrow?  Before you call it a night don't forget to read and share, define and summarize.
10/29: Have you read the entire BLOG? Have you shared with your parent that you need to be at school on Thursday for mass at 7:30 so you have time to change into your costume? Have you invited them to come see you at the mass?

10/29: Test prep: write the 20 mysteries of the Rosary and explain them in bullet form - this should be from memory now as we have worked on these for 2 months. Describe in detail HOW you plan to accomplish your 2 goals from conferences. Write down 2 poses for your saint at the wax museum and a list of the artifacts you are going to display.
