Why or why not - think about it. 8th Grade Homework Religion: 10/30: Saint Boards/Saint Costumes and Artifacts were due Tues. Oct 29th. You will be in costume for mass and the wax museum on Friday, Nov. 1 All Saints' Day, 12:30 Dismissal. The poster should be at least a 20 x ~30 tag or foam board. It needs to indicate the saint without saying their name and give the factual details of their early life, adult life, why they are considered a saint: how they affected the world, and their legacy: patronages, shrines, devotions, symbols, etc. The board should include visuals that indicate the saint and at least 1 picture of the saint. Past visuals were on display outside room 14 when you came to conferences. These boards will be on display at the museum along with any artifacts the student has found or created to help depict their saint. The "Saint Wax museum" is the culmination of the 1 1/2 month long project about saints. Your student should have turned in a biographical report on a saint of their choice this past Tuesday, and a " connection to their saint" essay. This too will be on display at the Wax Museum. Reminder from previous BLOGS: The Saint Wax Museum is in our, OLM, auditorium from 10-12 next Friday, November 1st. This is following the All Saints' Day mass that morning at 8:15. The students will come to school in costume as they will participate in the mass - in costume.
