8th Graders - Welcome back!  This is your Graduation Year!! Let's make it the best ~ positive memories ~ by being Jesus to one another!  Thank you all for being so generous with your gifts at Christmas and especially your kind words.  I pray all of you had a joyous and relaxing Christmas and break.  May God bless all of you and your families throughout this year of 2019.

1/10: Did you ask your parents about unalienable rights in our present society and write down thoughts?  Have you given them your high school registration forms?  Have you packed your St. Vincent Lunch and gotten out your PJ's?


​Religion:
1/10: Quote from Jesus to live by in 2019. Include Chapter and Verse (from Gospel) due Friday; write it in your Faith Journal after you respond to your Advent participation.  Complete Bible Search and make 2 connections - all is due Monday.
U.S. History:
1/10:  Write bold vocabulary from "D of I" text in your reading journal and define them.  Ask your parents their opinion as to whether our current governments support the unalienable rights.  Write about your discussion.
1/9: Read Declaration of Independence p.182-185
1/7: Correct Ch 4 Test by finding page # with answer for all 60 questions and also correcting any incorrect answers - ALL MUST BE DONE IN RED 

Physical Science: 
1/10:  Abstract due tomorrow.
1/7-8: Charts, graphs or photo visual of your science fair project with your project name and experimenter (you) due Thursday. We will work on writing your conclusion Tuesday, due  Wednesday; your abstract will be worked on Wednesday and due Friday.

Algebra: 
1/8: study and memorize -/+ rules and steps of operations for test tomorrow

1/7-8: Complete projects, write conclusion and work on abstract.  Study for Nutrition Test from notes used during break.
