8th Grade: As we honor the Constitution this week, let us remember the writers and those who immigrated to what became the Colonies before them. May we be so bold in our lives to educate ourselves and then sacrifice our comforts for the bettering of the lives of others. Most of those who were involved in the writing of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution suffered abuse and sometimes death for their efforts. We are their posterity and must be eternally grateful for the gift they left us.
