Many parents like to have a nice formal or semi-formal picture of their child in their 8th grade year. With this in mind, 8th graders are allowed to wear NICE dress for their pictures or they may wear their uniform. If you are concerned about the clothing being damaged during the day, 8th graders can change into their uniforms for the day. THIS IS NOT A FREE DRESS DAY - NO JEANS of any type!! Boys may wear collared shirts and slacks. Ties and vests or jackets can be worn for pictures and then removed if wanted. Girls may wear nice, appropriate dresses or blouses with skirts, capris, or slacks. Dresses and skirts must be uniform length. Dresses and blouses must cover appropriately or worn under a coverup. This should allow everyone to have a formal picture if wanted without going to a professional facility. 8th Grade Homework Religion: 9/5: Faith Journals with 5 entries: brief summary of each reading and 2 connections - 1 between the readings, 1 to your life, and Bible Search due 9/9!
