REMINDERS:

? of the Day:
9/19: Have you given your UC Merced field trip permission slip to your parents, gotten a signature on all 3 forms, hopefully a driver chaperone, and put it in your planner in your backpack?  Thank you - NOW please write 3 sentences using the vocab words we learned today: contempt, refuse, and tranquil - make them make sense in your life today!

9/18: Have you remembered that you have a spelling/vocab test in English tomorrow?  PLEASE share with your parents that the 8th grade will be attending an Open house at UC Merced at the Center for Cellular and Biomolecular  Machines next Friday September 27th.  There will be Flyers going home tomorrow and we are in need of drivers - please ask them to think about driving for this event.

9/17: Brainstorm and write 3 ways humans in your community have adapted to the environment and 3 ways the geography/environment has been adapted to humans.
9/16: Have you remembered to write and draw a birthday wish, for Mrs. Fister, about appreciation for who she is and her affect on your life, on 8x10 copy paper? Be sure to leave a 2 inch margin on the left hand side with the paper in a vertical position. Do not fold it and complete only ONE side. She loves: her family, faith, dogs, books, Giants, 49ers and the color blue. Think of all the experiences you've had with her through the years and use those to say kind and appreciative words.  If she is new to you - imagine turning 70 and what kind, caring thing would you like said to you? Ask mom and dad for suggestions if you need help.
