Thank you! _______________________________________ Homework help: Please be prompt in picking up your child, as the teachers sometimes have appointments scheduled following homework help. Students who are not picked up on time will be sent to extended care, and a fee will be assessed. Sometimes appointments may arise where we will need to trade days. _______________________________________ __________________________________________ Camp notes were sent home on Wednesday, August 17. 6th grade continues to be off to a great start! I apologize for my absence last Thursday. I had a medical emergency with my dad. He has been very ill the past few months. He has Parkinson's Disease which brings many complications. Please keep him in your prayers! Please also pray for my mom, as she is his primary caregiver. I feel so blessed to have such a great school family, of whom I can ask for prayers in times of need.

It is so wonderful to have our students giving of themselves to serve others and truly living their faith! __________________________________________ Reminder: If you have not yet sent in $5 for your child's Time for Kids subscription (6th grade only), and are able to do so, please send it in as soon as possible so that these can be ordered. It is a great addition to our reading program and a great way for our students to learn about current events while improving their reading skills. ________________________________________ Camp notes were sent home on Wednesday, August 17. Also, their mother is available as well. Currently they are at my parents' home. One of their cats had this adorable cat family. They are darling, but it is simply too much for my parents to keep them at this time. They are very cute and playful and looking for a "furever" home. Just think, you could have them in time to get them blessed at the Blessing of the animals. We currently refer to them as "Aly" and "Simone," like the American Olympic gymnasts. They enjoy walking on the bricks lining the flower beds.....they seem to be quite good at balance beam! But of course, you could name them whatever you choose. They are already eating cat food and are ready to cuddle up with you. Please let Mrs. Lorenzi know if you are interested. _______________________________________________________________ 6th grade Religion Monday-handwriting book text p. 27-29 story of Abraham and Sarah Tuesday-safe environment lesson.
