​Homework help:    Homework help is 2:30-3:30 and will begin the 2nd week of school.  
Sixth grade homework help will be in Mrs. Wennberg's room on Mondays and Wednesday and in Mrs. Lorenzi's room on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There is no homework help on Friday.  This year, in order to better meet the needs of our students in junior high, homework help will be a SILENT study hall.  It will be great for those needing a quiet place to work.  The teacher will also be available if assistance is needed.

6th Grade English

Monday-We will not switch classes the first day of school...we will stay in homeroom and go over rules and procedures.

Tuesday-Discuss magazine project.  Do not worry; we will do this project step by step.  Details will be given in class.  Today we will work on writing a letter to the editor and an answer letter.

Wednesday-Begin vocab. books.  These are very different from the 5th grade books.  Again, don't worry, we will work on this together at first.  Please bring index cards to class today.  We will do flashcards for unit 1

Thursday-finish story practice...work on skills for writing an essay test.

Friday- begin making parts of speech books
