________________________________ Monday weekly progress reports will be sent home with all 6th graders this Monday, February 26 (as usual). If there is missing work listed on the progress report, students should do this work ASAP. Several students were ineligible to participate in sports this season due to their grades on their official progress reports. However, some of these students continue to show up for practice. Playing sports is a wonderful thing, but it is a privilege for those who maintain a C- or higher in academics and a B- or higher in conduct or effort. If your child had an ineligibility notice on their official progress report, he/she should NOT be going to practice. He/she is ineligible for the current sports season. This includes not only baseball and softball, but track, as well.. We want for all of our students to be successful. Sometimes this means being "tough" and holding our students accountable for their actions. They were all made aware of the sports/academics guidelines at the beginning of the year. Please assist us with this in helping them follow the guidelines. Learning these lessons now will only serve them better in the future. _____________________________________ 6th grade parents: Anyone still wishing to purchase a flash drive with photos from camp or a DVD with a video to music can still do so.
