0 Comments If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at [email protected] _______________________________________________________________________ International night: This will be February 8, and our class will be presenting Italy. Please let me know if you have any items from Italy that we could have on display at our booth. Also, we are looking for volunteers to prepare foods from Italy to hand out at our booth. You can earn volunteer hours for cooking. Also, we will be needing parents to work at the booth (again---volunteer hours). So far we have volunteers to cook lasagna and raviolis. We still need more food, as well as volunteers to work at the booth handing out samples on that evening. I would also like a parent who would be willing to donate some bunches of grapes that we could use as decoration on our table. These could also be handed out towards the end of the evening. Please let me know if you would like to volunteer. Thank you to the following parents/grandparents for volunteering to cook/bake: Mrs. Bianchi-raviolis Mrs. Olivares-lasagna Mrs. Hunter-ricotta cookies Mrs. Pareira-Italian soda Mrs. Contreras-spaghetti Mrs. Arceo-garlic bread We are also in need of a couple more volunteers to work at the booth! So far, we have Mrs. Stephenson, Mrs. Pareira, Mitch, and Cooper. __________________________________ Our school's biggest fundraiser, the auction, is fast approaching. The 6th grade has an amazing photo on wood created at woodsnap. If you would like to see it, please stop by the office. I'm sure you will love it and want to bid on it on auction night! Also, please send in $6 to help cover the cost of our class's item. Please put the $6 in an envelope and mark it auction donation, Katie Bernard. Thank you so much to those who have already turned in their money! Thank you, Mrs. Bernard, for organizing and creating such a special auction item! ______________________________ 6th grade Religion: Monday: family life Tuesday: family life Wednesday: Bible search Thursday: kind words activity in the chapel Friday: song practice ____________________________________-__ 6th grade English Monday: syn/ant. unit 9 speeches writing: diamante poems Tuesday: practice all speeches choosing the right word unit 9 grammar: p. 152-153 Wednesday: illustrate diamante poems grammar: p. 179 Thursday: spelling/vocab. tests unit 9 grammar: p. 154-155 Friday: 3 SOURCES due for report.
