6th grade homework passes:  You may wish to look over the blog for this week, and see if you would like to use any of your homework passes.  Then, please take a photo of the homework passes you have left.  Send me the photo.  I will put those plus your virtual ones in for a special drawing where I will give away three $5 Starbucks cards. I will mail these to the winners.  I must receive your photo of homework passes before our zoom meeting on Tuesday.  We will draw on Zoom.  Must be present to win.

Religion:
We will continue with our Family Life book. I have scanned a few pages of your book for this week's lessons.  Homework passes are accepted on these.
Monday-"Rules of Thumb" on google classroom
 
Tuesday-"Matter of Respect" on google classroom

Wednesday-No classes today for junior high due to the Virtual Decathlon.  Junior high teachers will be busy online all day with this event.

Thursday-"Worldwide Family-see with God's eyes" on google classroom

Friday-no class!  This would've been carnival day...so I don't want you to have to work!  Do something you enjoy!

Monday-
Finish reading Wonder
Update your IXL language arts diagnostic.  You will receive points for getting them updated.  If you show at least 1 school year worth of growth, you will receive extra credit. This must be done by Tuesday 8:00am.  No homework passes may be used on this.

Tuesday-
Zoom invites will go out at 8:00am. Zoom meeting at 10am to explain the Digital Memory Book Project due Thursday 2:30pm.  No homework passes may be used on the project.
Make sure all extra homework passes have been turned in to me (with a photo).  We will have a drawing for three $5 Starbucks cards.  Must be present to win.  I will mail the cards to the winners.

Wednesday-No work due to virtual decathlon...You can work on your digital memory book if you wish.

Thursday-
Finish Digital Memory Book
Wonder-Watch movie clips and answer questions in google classroom.  If you choose to use a homework pass on the questions, please still watch the movie clips; I think you will like them.  I wish we were at school; I would love to have shown you the movie.  It is great!  You may wish to rent it or buy it (with your parents' permission of course).

Friday-
No work....This would've been carnival day. Do something you enjoy...maybe your parents would enjoy watching Wonder too!

Monday-
You will take your Romeo and Juliet final on quizizz.  IT MUST BE TAKEN DURING OUR USUAL CLASS PERIOD (BEFORE LUNCH)...11:30AM -12:30PM.  THE LINK WILL EXPIRE AT 12:30pm, and you will not be able to take the final and earn points.  It is worth 100 points. 

English-update diagnostics.  You will receive points for updating.  If you show at least a school year of growth, you will receive extra credit.  This must be done by Tuesday, 8am.  No homework passes will be accepted on this.
 
Tuesday-
Romeo and Juliet money assignment on google classroom.  Due Tuesday 2:30pm.  Homework passes accepted. 

Tuesday is the last day of language arts for 8th grade...Please be sure to have all work turned in by Tuesday 2:30pm for it to count in your 4th quarter grades.
