We are now in our 6th and final week of Lent. Hopefully the good deeds and sacrifices we have made during Lent have put us closer to God and made us better people.

Reading-We are finishing our unit on "aw" and "all" words. We are still reading, "Play Ball".
Writing-Comparing and contrasting basketball and soccer. We will use a Venn Diagram to visually see how they are similar and different.

Spelling-No Spelling this week.

Math-Chapter 13-Using a place value chart to add and subtract. We are also starting Calendar and Time. Please review with your child...day and month, some are really struggling with the difference between date, month and day of the week. For example, What is the date today? Student will say Monday...when the answer should be April 10th. Thank you for your help.

Social Studies-Community Helpers-Sign-up will be up when we come back from Easter Break for any parents that would like to come to class and speak about their job. We will have one parent speak per day.

Religion-Stations of the Cross

Art-Finishing eggs and bunnies

Holy Thursday-First and Eighth Grade present the Living Stations of the Cross--Minimum Day---No Extended Care--Purple Free Dress--Bark for Life/Mini Relay for Life
Good Friday-No School

Please turn in your permission slips for Stations of the Cross on Wednesday.
