Happy Catholic Schools Week! 

Thank you to all of the parents that attended and/or helped with the auction. It was a fun night and a great way to celebrate our school.

Reading: "Buster is Back" and "Buster's Surprise" We are working on setting and how to tell how people in the story feel, without the characters actually saying how they feel. We are also working on comparing things by adding 'er' and 'est'.

Spelling Words: don't, won't, can't, before, girl, boy, two, four, about, over

Writing-A personal narrative

Math-Addition and Subtraction up to 20---less, more, fewer...In the homework---Subtraction -8

Science-Working on reading a thermometer, making a thermometer. Working on our Science Fair Project:  Which Color Can Keep You the Coolest?  Our project will be up on display on the sixth at the Science Fair or up in our room after that.

Art---Finish our Seasons Tree Art

Activities this week---

Monday---Jeopardy with our Faith Family
Tuesday---Buddy Day---Blue and White Free Dress---No Hot Lunch---Rally
Wednesday---Cherish Luncheon---No Hot Lunch---We will perform "Spoons" for Senior Citizens during luncheon.
Thursday---"Souper" Bowl---Bring a canned food item for Catholic Charities---Wear favorite sports attire---any sport
Friday---Drop off students at St. Patrick's Church--12:30 dismissal
