Did you see the first round pick of the NFL?  Joe Burrow of LSU was the Heisman Trophy winner in 2019.  In his acceptance speech of that award, he talked about the poverty of  the county of Athens, Ohio where he is  from.  That speech inspired $350,000 donations to the food bank in Athens, Ohio.
He is not only a great football player, he is a great young man. Congratulations Joe!

Today is Good Friday.  It is part of the Triduum,  The Triduum began last night with the celebration of the Last Supper.  It continues until Easter Evening Prayer.
