Sixth Grade Science
Computer lab on Tuesday and Wednesday. In class we will begin reading and discussing chapter 7.

Seventh Grade Language Arts
Writing
Topic for research report due Wed. We will spend the next five weeks working on these reports. I will give you a handout on Tues. Some class time will be given so you need to bring your research with you to class. The final paper and poster will be due on February 6th. You will need to do some work on this every day.
Reading
We will begin reading a novel in class on Wed., The Glory Field. Your next book assignment will be a response to literature (fiction) essay. (500-750 words) You should choose a medal winning fiction book for this assignment. Decathletes can write their essays on the literature selections for decathlon. This essay will be due on February 17th. We will write a practice essay in class.
