With the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption.

Welcome to on-line school week three.

Let us begin with a prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you, Lord, for giving us the guidance and technology to serve you well last week. We continue to ask for your blessings to keep us working and placing all of our fears and doubts into your hands. We trust that you will continue to shepherd us with the light of truth. We continue to ask for your guidance in keeping our minds open to this new way of learning at Our Lady of Mercy School. We ask you to bless our national and community leaders as they try to keep us safe. We pray too for the community servants who care for the sick and respond to our needs. May we find peace and comfort through the life and death of your son, Jesus Christ.

Our Lady of Mercy; pray for us.
Amen

The following is the plan for my students for this week. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions. [email protected]
Assignments should be turned into Google Classroom. Math, Science, and Grammar will be done on IXL.

Sixth Science

Thanks for your great work last week. We now have science on IXL, and I would like for you to spend this week on the following recommendations:
1. Identify changes in gravitational potential energy.
2. Use tables and graphs to identify patterns about kinetic energy.
3. Explore energy transformations, roller coaster ride.
4.How does particle motion affect temperature?
I am looking for three hours of time spent this week on these recommendations.

Thanks for all of your hard work. I miss your laughter and smiling faces. Keep praying. There was a question on assignment due times, and I think we will stick with school policy. Assignments will be due at 8:00 a.m. on the due date assigned.
Writing /
Reading
For this week's reading I would like for you to keep working on whatever novel you chose for the book test on April 9th, and finish reading the extra stories and poems in The Glory Field book. Remember Poetry? There are poems in this section of The Glory Field on pages 343, 350-351, and 355. For each poem on one paper list the following: (Due Friday 8:00 a.m.))
