February 3rd - 7th

Catholic School's Week was amazing for all!!  Thank you to all the students for your enthusiasm and positive energy as we all continue to grow stronger in our faith.  We would also like to thank Mrs. Tyler's 7th grade class for helping to make a fun and memorable buddy day/week!!

Religion- We are a little off schedule from Catholic School's week, so we are continuing to wrap up Chapter 11.  Complete Law of Love worksheet and chapter review.
Math- Lesson 4.3 "Line Graphs" Make, read, and interpret line graphs.  Choosing either a line, bar, or  picture graph to display given data.  IXL on Chromebooks.
Language Arts- Reading Chapter 8 and 9 "The Indian in the Cupboard."  Chapter 6 - 8 Review questions.  Introduce new vocabulary words.  Continue poetry lessons on Haiku and introduce Acrostic poetry.  Persuasive writing "Which route would you choose?"  Spelling unit 16.
Social Studies- Week 22 "The Gold Rush." Read and highlight important facts.  Crossword puzzle, Think and Review questions, and discuss advantages/disadvantages of the 3 routes to California- Overland Trail, around Cape Horn, and across the Isthmus of Panama and complete the worksheet. 
Science- Correct lesson 1 homework and start lesson 2 "How People Change Ecosystems" Complete review questions. Collect and graph our data for our class experiment "Animal Adaptations: How Does a Bird's Beak Help Meet Their Needs?" for the Science Fair on Thursday.
