Bio:HELLO,
My name is Judy Blackburn and this is Mercy our school mascot. I am on my 20th year as principal of Our Lady of Mercy School. Prior to becoming principal, I taught grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 for sixteen years… so I have been in education for a grand total of thirty-one years. I have a B.A. in Liberal Studies, a Master of Arts degree in Education, as well as, a Administrative Credential from St. Mary’s College. I love athletics, and therefore coach all of the girl’s athletic teams at OLM. I, along with my five siblings graduated from OLM School. I am committed to Catholic Education and to overseeing that OLM School provides a positive learning environment for all children. Mercy, our school mascot is a rescue dog. She is a border collie/poodle mix. Mercy is seven years old and is a therapy dog for children, parents and staff. She visits the classrooms, attends school Masses and sporting events. She even has her own school uniform. She loves the children and they love her |
Bio:My name is Mrs. Lisa Saling, and I started at OLM in 2007. I have done lots of things at OLM from yard duty to Parent Club to the Advisory Board. I also chair many of our fundraisers here including our annual auction. But my biggest accomplishment is being a parent. My husband Ron and I have 2 sons (one graduated OLM, and another currently enrolled). I feel truly blessed to be a part of the OLM family now and for many, many more years to come.
