October 3-7

As we enter October, there are many events happening at school.  Please keep your OLM calendar and the Preschool calendar handy.  Here are the main events:

• October 17-20 Parent/Teacher Conferences (sign-up in the classroom)
• October 17-21-Scholastic Book Fair in Library
• October 17-Fire Department visiting the Preschool
• October 18-Picture Retakes
• October 26-October Birthday Celebration in classrooms
• October 28-St. Vincent de Paul Lunches provided by Preschool
• October 29-OLM Halloween Carnival
• October 31-Pumpkin Patch/Halloween Party in Classrooms

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  We will be wearing Pink all month.  As a school, we do raise money to benefit breast cancer research.  We ask that you donate your loose change (check those couches!) to each classroom.  The teachers will collect the money and then the school will send one large donation.  Thank you for your generosity!

Please remember to sign and return your family envelope!
