IMPORTANT DATES AND EVENTS FOR OCTOBER:

Friday, October 4:  Blessing of the Animals Mass at 11:00am.  Preschool will not be attending but you are more than welcome to participate and bring your family pets!
Saturday, October 5: Oktoberfest will be at Hunter Farms Pumpkin Patch from 6:00-9:00pm.  Proceeds will go toward enhancing safety on campus.Tickets are $35 and may be purchased at the preschool office.
Monday, October 7: Mrs. Donavan Garrison will open and be the classroom teacher in room 9.  This classroom will serve children who are turning 4 years old by May of 2020.  This is an opportunity to provide more enrollment space for interested families.  
Wednesday, October 16: The Merced Fire Department will visit the preschool to teach the students about fire safety and calling 911.
Saturday, October 19: Parish School Mass at St. Patrick's Church, 5:00pm. Please join us and have your child wear the OLM t-shirt.
October 21-25 and October 28-29: Parent/Teacher Conferences: You will receive an email with a link to a google form. This form has the dates and times available to meet with the teachers. If you can not make any of the sessions, please talk to your child's teacher to arrange another date and time for the conference.
October 21-25:  Scholastic Book Fair in the school library. This year's theme is "Arctic Adventure Book Fair, Snow Much To Read!"
Saturday, October 26:  Halloween Carnival from 5:00-8:00pm. Preschool is in charge of the cake walk.  Sign-up sheets are posted in the classrooms to provide baked goods.  We also need volunteers to work 30 minute shifts.  Your help is greatly appreciated!  Proceeds from the carnival go directly to the teachers!
Wednesday, October 31:  Halloween/Pumpkin Patch parties in the classrooms.  Please see the sign-up sheets on the bulletin boards.  
Costumes are NOT to be worn this day.
