Hello Families,

Your children did an amazing job at Mass on Wednesday and all received their ashes.  So Lent has begun and we will gently teach The Stations of the Cross.  We will also continue to talk about Lent being a waiting time where we can do something special every day up until (and after) Easter Sunday.  They already know and love Jesus and know Jesus loves them!  When they squabble about who is first in line they always say...Jesus is the leader!

We'll be studying "Animal Life Cycles" and will be doing a life cycle of the butterfly project.  It's going to be fun!  The letters Mm, and W,w are what we'll be concentrating on as well as clapping syllables.  Our Social/Emotional curriculum will be all about "Having Fun With Friends!"

Thank you so much for all of the support you give our class.  Thank you for tissues, cleaning wipes, paper towels and baby wipes (Whew we go through them fast!)  Thank you for bringing in healthy snacks for the children and for bringing goodies during our special days!  Thank you for taking the time to say good morning every day even if things are a bit chaotic at the time!  Mrs. Hermosillo and I truly appreciate you and love working with you to ensure your wonderful child has an amazing year in building their faith, academics and social skills.
